Title: Innovation Project Manager
JOB SUMMARY
- Assist in managing multiple projects from initiation through execution and closeout.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects remain on track and aligned with strategic objectives.
- Monitor progress against goals and proactively identify risks, delays, and dependencies.
- Help to facilitate regular project updates, status reports, and communication to stakeholders.
- Support the development and management of the enterprise transformation portfolio.
- Assist in translating strategic initiatives into actionable project plans and workflows.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support reporting on transformation progress.
- Assist in ensuring accountability by following up on deliverables, commitments, and action items.
- Assist in developing structures, tools, and processes to support execution discipline.
- Assist as a liaison across departments to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Help break down silos by coordinating efforts across teams and functional areas.
- Build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Assist in implementing change management strategies to support adoption of new initiatives.
- Help communicate project goals, updates, and outcomes in a clear and compelling way.
- Support efforts to build organizational buy-in and reduce resistance to change.
- Reinforce a culture of accountability, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and operational efficiency.
- Support implementation of project management tools, templates, and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of standardized frameworks for executing transformation work.
- Execution Excellence: Strong ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work.
- Organization and Prioritization: Effectively balances competing priorities and maintains attention to detail.
- Communication: Clearly conveys information and collaborates effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Identifies issues early and develops practical, actionable solutions.
- Collaboration: Works effectively across teams without direct authority.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Business, management, public administration, or related field preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in project management, operations, consulting, or a related field.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Exposure to strategic planning, organizational change, or process improvement initiatives preferred.
- Experience in a nonprofit or human services environment is preferred.
- Constantly moves about to coordinate work.
- Regularly works in a fast-paced environment with multiple task deadlines.
- Regularly moves and positions objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally exposed to viruses and infectious conditions.
- Constantly alert and observant during working hours.
- Will not supervise.
- May be required to attend seminars or job-related training courses.
- Must have the ability to maintain good working relationships with Evergreen staff and with contacts from other agencies or entities.
- Strong project planning, coordination, and execution capabilities.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean, or traditional approaches).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar).
- Ability to track and interpret performance data and KPIs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Professional presence with the ability to facilitate meetings and discussions.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace.
- Aptitude to learn other software programs as required for this position.
- Must have a good driving record that meets the minimum requirements for Evergreen and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Occasional travel is required.
- Remote work environment; hybrid work arrangements may be available based on location.
